Shingen Kitamura, a clever and prominent Japanese cabinet minister, is suspected by New Scotland Yard of knifing a Swedish girl to death in London's opulent West End. Kitamura leaves London for Tokyo soon after the girl's murder and James Steiner, a highly-ranked martial arts exponent, is sent to bring him in.
Andrew Rohm, a friend of Kitamura's and doing life for the murder of four South African government ministers, escapes from Pollsmoor high-security prison near Cape Town and flees to London. He is seen by Steiner's girlfriend and Steiner was the one responsible for Rohm being jailed.

Our hero works very cheaply. For less than $500 a day plus expenses he is willing to commit at least two homicides and the kidnapping of a member of Japan's parliament and also the lesser, but still serious offenses of carrying a concealed firearm and burglary. All of this in a country notorious or famous, depending upon which adjective one chooses for a strong law and order mentality and a conviction rate of over 95% with concomitant long prison sentences. No wonder he is in big demand despite his lack of any kind of expertise in his new line of endeavor. I am not quite sure what a 90 two Beretta is unless the author is referring to a Model 92 Beretta which is the basic handgun of the U.S. Armed Forces. I don't know who wrote the first two reviews, butI suspect that they were close friends of the author or, perhaps, the author himself under a pseudonym. Not too many typos which is unusual for a self-published e-book. I suggest the author not rush to print so quickly with his next work and spend more time developing the plot. Even at 99¢ this book was hardly worth the price. It could have been a work equal to a John Rain novel with more work but fell far shot of that mark.Product details

I think this book is very good.
A good thriller and suspense that will keep you wanting to try and read the entire book before putting it away.
